At this size the premium per ounce drops well below coins and small bars, which is the whole reason to buy one. The trade-off is flexibility: you cannot sell part of a ten-ounce bar, so it suits buyers who are holding rather than trading in pieces.
Depending on the refiner, the bar may be cast, with the rough poured look, or minted with a machined finish. Both carry weight, purity and a serial number, and both are accepted worldwide.
It ships in a protective sleeve or assay packaging, insured, with a signature required at delivery.

How is the price of the 10 oz Gold Bar calculated?
It contains 10 troy oz of fine gold. At the current spot price of $4,190.28/oz that metal is worth $41,902.80; our premium for one unit is $1,047.57 (2.5%), paying by bank transfer. The price updates with spot until you lock it at checkout for 10 minutes.
Why is the card price higher?

Cast or minted?
Either, depending on which refiner we ship. Both hold the same gold; cast bars have a rougher poured surface, minted bars a machined finish.
