Each bar holds one troy ounce of .9999 fine gold. The face carries Fortuna, the Roman goddess of fortune, with the weight, purity and an individual serial number. It arrives sealed in CertiPAMP packaging, an assay card that ties the bar to its certificate.
Recent bars include Veriscan, PAMP's authentication system: the refiner records the bar's surface at microscopic scale, so it can be matched against their database like a fingerprint.
